I recently had the opporuntiy to attend my first major leaugue baseball game. Orioles vs. the Twins. It was quite possibly the most boring sporting event I've ever attended - but it was nonetheless a truly American experience. I saw and heard the events - the beer and hot dog vendors running effortlessly up and down the aisles, the fans decked out in their colorful memorabilia, and the kids listening attentively while their dads explained every step of the game. On another evening during my trip, I had the opportunity to explore another cool side of the city - which brought me to a very large egg.

Nice egg, baby.
In other news, I have decided to reduce the capacity of my purse. I have discovered that having a big purse leads to the temptation to carry around way to much shit. I found that carting around innocent extra items like a camera and book, led to the temptation to add unnecessary extras. (Extra outfits, shoes, a bottle of wine, or maybe a printer.)
I've decided that the big purse trend has led to not only a mis-aligned back, but also an unhealthy and unrealistic idea of what sorts of items should be toted along at any given time. If it can't fit in this little purse, it ain't comin' with me.
